But, residents in Wayne County still need the help of radon mitigation. The county's average level is at 2.5 pCi/L with 16 percent of homes above 4.0 pCi/L.

Whether your home has a radon gas level above 4.0 or below 2.0 pCi/L, your home is not as safe as it should be until your home has no radon gas. Remember, radon is actually second to smoking as the prime cause of lung cancer!
